Ways to Meet 48% of Shortfall: How This Affects You + USF
from Ron Sundstrom, Evelyn Ho, and Steve Devlin
If you would like to figure out what happens to your paycheck and what happens in terms of collective USF savings, please read the following documents compiled by USFFA members: Ron Sundstrom (rrsundstrom@usfca.edu), Evelyn Ho (eyho@usfca.edu), and Steve Devlin (smdevlin@usfca.edu)
We have provided three documents with different levels of explanation/detail to help you understand the numbers.
1) Slides: this is the quickest, fastest way to get the numbers for those who are more words-oriented
2) Sheet: this provides all of our calculations and for the more numbers oriented people includes a toggle that allows you to see and compare bigger cuts
3) Doc: this is a verbal explanation of how we calculated the numbers and some caveats about the fact that these are only estimates. This is the full nerd-out explanation for those who really want it. But it also explains how to use the toggle feature on the sheet if you want to use that.
To provide some security, we’ve set these three documents to “Open to USF Faculty/Staff.” If you prefer to access them from a non-USF email, just request from that email and assuming we can tell you’re a faculty member, we’ll allow access.
